Jason helped a defense make plays when it mattered.  Jason led the team with 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, and 3 solo tackles

Jake Church had 4 punts for 160 yards, 3 inside the 20, and 1 touchback to pin the Predators deep in their own territory the entire game.

Rage Win Home Opener Against Chippewa Valley Predators

 

The May 18th home opener was a rematch of the 2012 Second Round Playoff match up with the Chippewa Valley Predators. The Lake Superior Rage came out on top this go round 24-18 on a gloomy day in May.  It was an all around win for the team, striding to come together with all the new faces this year. 
Chris Henagin led the offense with 22 carries for 158 yards and two touchdowns.  While the defense was bolstered by multiple players with 6 or more tackles.  Jason Grammer led the defense with two sacks, and was named the Defensive player of the game. 

The Rage play on the road after Memorial Day, and return home June 8th to play the North Bank Bulls at Duluth East at 4pm.
